BIOMARKER RESEARCH STUDY FOR TREATMENT RESPONSE IN DEPRESSION
Are you feeling depressed or have you been diagnosed with depression?
The aim of this research study is to identify brain, cognitive and genetic markers that predict treatment response to three antidepressant medications.
This research study is for male or female individuals who are:
18-65 years of age
No recent use of antidepressant medication
Primary language is English.
You will be required to satisfy study criteria and attend a medical screening and clinical assessment before being permitted to participate in the study.
This will include:
While your brain activity is being measured via non-invasive brain-mapping methods, you will be asked to perform various tasks
(e.g. focused attention, memory recall, etc.) You will also be asked to provide a blood sample, and answer questions about your
medical history.
The research study will involve two 5-6 hour testing sessions, and additional 30 minute phone and internet follow-up sessions.
You will be paid for your time and any costs incurred in participating in this study.
