Account Manager - Medical Claims - Collection


We are a third party medical claims collection company looking for an Account Manager. Are you an Account Manager with 3 years third party payer reimbursement experience in healthcare industry? If so, please read on!


What you will need:

- AA degree or some college coursework completed

- 3 years third party payer reimbursement experience in healthcare industry

- Thorough understanding of insurance company policies and procedures in federal, state and commercial industry

- MS Office and Excel skills

- A background in home infusion providers


What you will be doing:

- Collecting payments for medical claims on behalf of clients

- Determining process required to obtain reimbursement for services; prioritizing and managing collection activity; and obtaining appropriate reimbursement for client's services from third party payers and patients

- Collecting reasonable percent of accounts assigned within a specified timeframe

- Managing the collection activity of assigned accounts to ensure timely processing and maximum collection results.

- Contacting third party payers to recover unpaid or partially paid claims on behalf of clients per Company's accepted practices and in compliance with all state and federal laws pertaining to such actions.
