Projects/Accomplishments
RFID Access Control. Team leader of a 5-person group. Designed, implemented and tested a Java front-end that interfaced with a MySQL back-end and RFID hardware. Utilized software to control and document access times, access points and overcome hardware limitations.
iPhone game. Worked in 4-person group to create an arithmetic quiz game for the iPhone. Application allows the user to select many options and instantiate a game based on these requirements. Education value of the project focused on Cocoa Touch API, Mac OS X, XCode, Objective-C, Model-View-Controller concept and software reusability.
Software cryptography application using Java. Designed and programmed an application that allows the user to encrypt/decrypt selected files using a selected cryptography method. Implemented DES, AES and RSA standards. Application focuses on teaching the user about different encryption methods.
Microcontroller hardware implementation. Designed and built a microcomputer from the chip level using a Motorola 68000 microcontroller, a Motorola 6821 I/O chip, 2732 EEPROMs and many misc parts. Tested using assembly code written programs.
