My wife and I just moved to Irvine (right by John Wayne Airport). We had all of our "ducks in a row" except for child care. Searching around has yielded little in the realm of quality, affordable child care. Taking our little "blueberry" to a day care isn't completely out of the question, but we'd much prefer a CDC or a nanny.

So we're looking for another family (preferably in Irvine or close by) who might be interested in a nanny share. This would entail having both (or 3 if you have more than 1) of our children (our son is 5 months old) cared for by the same nanny at the same time.

I think that we are pretty awesome people (try to eat healthy, ethical, high standards...etc). But, obviously, our families would need to mesh. Same goes for schedules (our's is roughly M-F 8-6).

If you have the time, feel free to elaborate about yourself and the type of care you'd like for your child, food preferences, religious preference...etc. I'd really like to get a good feel for the family we'd be sharing a nanny (and our son) with.

This might even work for up to 3 families if the ages work right.
