Thoroughbred - Large - Adult - Male - Horse - Ella
Description
Ella is a 16 year-old Bay Thoroughbred mare. She is about 15.1 hands, and is very sweet, but has had a difficult life. She is a previous ex-racehorse, and weaves if left in a small stall. Ella needs someone who is very confident and who wants to spend a lot of time with her. Ella can be ridden at all gaits, and she enjoys working, but cannot be "cowboyed" as she will shut down. Ella's perfect home would be a very large stall or paddock with another horse next to her or with her- she does get very attached with other horses- and an owner who is very patient and who would be willing to work with Ella on some basic training. While Ella knows all the cues for her gaits, she still needs some work in learning to move off of the leg. She is serviceably sound, and is barefoot.
