CommVault Systems provides software products designed for data backup, recovery and archival in the Windows 2000, NT, UNIX, Novel environments. This Systems Engineer position will focus on our Oracle, DB2, Sybase and Informix database products. This individual will engage in pre-sales, implementation and post-sales activities. This includes providing expert consulting in analyzing a client s requirements, recommending CommVault products, implementing solutions, optimizing performance and training customers. Customer engagements are usually conducted at the customer s location. Estimated travel between 60% - 70% during the work week.


Required Skills:

Two to four years Oracle and/or other database (Informix, DB2, Sybase) administration experience on Windows and/or UNIX environments

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong written, oral and presentational skills

Technical experience in any of the following areas is a plus:- Backup and Restore database strategies - Oracle RMAN Utility - Informix OnBar Utility - DB2 Database Protection - Sybase Database Protection - Customer training - Storage management - UNIX and Linux systems administration - Windows 2000 systems administration - SAN/NAS - SAP, People Soft, and SQL - Oracle Solution development, Application development, and ConsultingCommVault is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
