DescriptionBI Solutions Architect Job Description:

TEKsystems is seeking a BI Solutions architect for its client in Orange County.


This is a contract to hire opportunity.


The selected candidate will provide software solution expertise in collaboration with business development and project delivery teams.


Responsibilities include:


- Lead detailed user requirements sessions; covering business, functional, technical and performance related needs


- Conduct technical assessment, recommend appropriate infrastructure


- Consult with clients on potential software design strategies and assess tradeoffs


- Lead the software design process for all elements of the system (source systems analysis, interface / ETL, logical and physical data base design, reporting applications, report layouts and formats, etc.)


- Provide technical expertise across all areas of the software solution; ensuring proper integration and performance


- Develop the plans for integrated testing (system, integration, performance, etc)


- Advise on implementation of production hardware, networks, and software applications


- Develop rollout strategies covering both functional and technical aspects of the rollout












REQUIRED SKILLS:


Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence strategy and tools

Deep understanding of financial and operational analytics

Understanding of reporting technical architectures and supporting software solutions/applications such as Cognos, Hyperion, Business Objects, SAP, Oracle
