HI! My name is Curtis Loew (previously Cullen), and I was a stray picked up by the nicest ACO in the whole state of Kentucky. ACO Collins did everything in his power to save me from being euthanized and it worked. I am now in my new foster home with three other Pei and a cat; and guess what, I get along with all of them just fine. I have been neutered, microchipped and all my vaccinations are up-to-date. Orginally the shelter thought I was around two years of age, but I am really older than that, probably 7-8 years from what the vets say. Because I have had a rough life up to now, Im not looking my best; but with a good diet, medicine for my skin and lots of TLC, you wont even recognize me. At 54 pounds Im still skinny; so when I gain back the weight I need, I will be a big boy. From Curtis Loews foster mom: Curtis Loew has been with me for about nine days, and I have to say he is such a nice boy. He is really starting to come around. He is already crate trained and housetrained. Curtis Loew loves to be petted and will lean into you for more. Curtis Loew is learning how to walk on a leash and so far so good. I believe hes somewhat sight and hearing impaired, but it does not slow him down one bit. Check back for updates on Curtis Loew as we will know more about him and his personality, but I can say for sure he is a very sweet guy.
