Great Pyrenees - Extra Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Maggie in
Description
* { font:inherit; } Maggie is a striking one year old with gray-tipped ears and dark eyeliner around her 'Betty Davis eyes'! She has a calm temperment, a lovely, graceful gait and is quite agile for a pyr. She is affectionate in a dignified way and likes to lean on you when she wants attention. She loves to ride in the car and would enjoy the company of another dog. Maggie hasn't had the best start in life but she is highly intelligent and willing to learn. Thanks to the attention that her foster family is lavishing on her, she is learning to trust people and new situations. Maggie has the potential to be very loyal and devoted to a special person in a forever home. She would do well in a fairly quiet environment with a person or couple who is home most of the time, without a lot of traffic in and out. She is physically beautiful and easy to love.Name: Maggie in CT Age: <1Color: White Dew Claws: Yes Estimated Adult Weight: 80 lbs.Origin: Tennessee Owner surrenderCurrent Location: NGPR apprived foster in CTMedical: Spayed or neutered, dewormed, negative for heartworm, up-to-date on vaccinations and currently on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. We save Pyrs and Pyr mixes across the country and place them in approved foster homes to learn how they will interact with your family. Every dog who is fostered or adopted makes room for another Pyr coming out of a kill shelter. NGPR dogs are fostered for a minimum of two weeks or more, spayed or neutered and fully vetted before placement. NGPR will take back any dog who does not succeed in its new home. Many NGPR volunteers are members of the AKC breed club, adhere to their rescue guidelines for purebred Pyrs and apply these standards to the adoption of Pyr mixes as well.
