She is obviously in the late prime of her life.  This big lady lost her family because they didn't do the right thing by just letting her live out the rest of her life with them; were too afraid of the end. She's only ever been owned by one family and now is confused on why they threw her away. This lady has already lived weeks longer than we thought she would.  Rica is settled into a bit of a routine and has decided she deserves to be spoiled and why not, she so deserves this from the many years of loyalty she had given to one family. Rica is fine with other dogs and cats, but prefers to be the only one being spoiled. Rica is very wobbly on her feet and we have a harness on her for ease of taking her out and moving her when needed. We also have her on a comfy full queen mattress; she can get up and down easiest this way.
