This is a beautifully crafted 2-handled Pickard vase of the famous “Rose & Daisy” pattern in “Allover Gold”. Height is approximately 9 ½” and the width is approximately 5”. The mark on the bottom is identified as Mark 14 which places manufacture between 1930 and 1938. What was happening at that time? The planet Pluto was discovered, Al Capone went to prison for tax evasion, Amelia Earhardt flew across the Atlantic, first Zippo lighter, Hitler became Chancellor, Bonnie and Clyde were killed, the cheeseburger was created, War of the Worlds was broadcast. It’s a piece of history! In excellent condition.
