Marriott ExecuStay, located at 1301 Dove St., Newport Beach, CA seeks a Vendor Coordinator to join their staff.
 
The Vendor Coordinator provides customer service and sales support to guests and vendors of ExecuStay. The focus of the position is to respond to and resolve guest and vendor issues involving the properties, utilities, furniture and operations within ExecuStay apartments. The position involves significant interaction with guests, property managers, utility vendors, furniture vendors, ExecuStay Operations, and Marriott Business Systems (MBS) to establish, maintain and terminate such service to/from ExecuStay apartments. The position requires individuals to have superior communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills and the ability to thrive within a team environment
Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Responsibilities:
 
* Respond to guest inquiries related to properties, utilities (power, cable, internet, phone), furniture, and ExecuStay operations (e.g., amenities and housekeeping).
* Communicate with contracted property management, furniture vendors, and ExecuStay Operations to resolve guest issues.
* Order utility services for all new units.
* Disconnect all utility services and ensure that any billing issues are resolved before the unit is given back.
* Input service lines into OSCAR (ExecuStay reservation system) to pay bill for furniture, house wares, and utilities.
* Review task lists daily to ensure guest request as it relates to upgrades are ordered.
* Place all outgoing follow-up calls, and/or emails to ensure adequate guest resolution.
* Follow established processes in order to provide responsive and accurate customer service.
* Collaborate with ExecuStay market team members to set-up and terminate utility, furniture, amenities and housekeeping services.
* Document and log all vendor comments/requirements/general information promptly upon receipt.
* Proactively maintain positive relations with all vendor contacts.
* Perform general office duties including answering incoming calls, filing, ordering office supplies, routing/distributing mail and packages, monitoring and reviewing various accounting and guest satisfaction reports.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
* High School diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
* At least 1 year of related work experience
