Gala benefit for Latino Health Access Anaheim, CA – Latino Health Access celebrates the talent and culture of Mexico in Orange County as part of its 15th Annual Salsa Fiesta, Mexico: Celebrating Diversity! Gala event at the Grove of Anaheim in Orange County. The evening’s events will begin with the authentic musical and dance performance by Son Del Centro, an ensemble from El Centro Cultural de Mexico that will share the traditional music and dance called Son Jarocho. The evening will include a local folkorico group and an amazing mariachi to add to the Mexican festivities. Following the evening’s program, Latino Health Access (LHA) once again delights its audience with the talented and internationally recognized performance of Johnny Polanco Y Su Conjunto Amistad. Johnny Polanco is one of the most sought-after bandleaders in the U.S. with more than 35 years of professional musicianship. He is an autodidactic artist who mastered 13 instruments. Today, he leads a 14-piece internationally recognized band that will mesmerize you and your guest. The evening will be filled with surprises, silent and live auctions and opportunity to experience the enchantment of Mexico, while in California. As the premier Latino event in Orange County, the 15th Annual LHA Gala Event unites prominent civic and political leaders. This event will conclude a year long celebration of LHA’s 15 years of service to the community with a Mexican cultural exchange. Latino Health Access is an award-winning non-profit organization dedicated to reducing health disparities for at-risk populations. LHA's mission is to assist in improving the quality of life and health of uninsured, under-served people through quality preventive services and educational programs, emphasizing responsibility and full participation in decisions affecting health.
